FDs at Bala 3/4 July 2004 Another great weekend of sailing on lake Bala saw 7 FDs taking part in the Annual Long distance race on 3 July and the Sunday racing which this year was a 3 hour pursuit race. The racing was excellent and the FD social in the Bala Pizza place on Saturday evening was enjoyed by all the FD sailors and the club rescue boat driver who had had a busy afternoon. Julian & Cathy had their first sail in their newly decked FD on the Sunday when the wind was  (Julian will provide photos and details later in the year for winter reading). Jon Williams sailing with Alex Rogers (GBR 384) in one of Tony's boats was delighted to win his first FD event.
