The result of the forum discussion is the vision of former Olympic champions on the desired future development of yachting.

This forum discussion will be held on Friday afternoon 16h00 in the clubhouse of the Royal Yachtclub Loosdrecht. The result of the discussion will be available shortly afterwards in a press release.




Thesis 1:
Yachting is a sport without much tradition, 'innovation in yachting' means to make it more attractive to the general public

Thesis 2:
Yachting in general benefits from the removal of the Flying Dutchman and Soling from the Olympic program

Thesis 3:
National and International classes are not important for training and development of future top yachtsmen.

Thesis 4:
The best way for youngsters to develop sailing skills is to strictly follow the selection procedure of the National Sailing Associations
