No change
to the problem is the availability of suitable articles. In the early
days of the FD BULLETIN knowledge on tactics, weather, use of telltales,
etc,etc was not widespread and there were not many yachting magazines
giving this information. Now most countries have a number of magazines
fullfilling this task.
Still a
continous problem is supply by countries of 'news'. It has to be gathered
piece by piece. The same of course for regatta results (which are required
for the DAWES CUP too !!!)
Even
Cttee members and Nat Secr seem not to be interested in helping out.

planned for September 2003 - Report EC 2003, NoR WC 2004, Outcome Carbon
Spars, DAWES Cup 2003, new logo - was retarded till 2004. Change over to
supplying the layout in digital form acceptable to printers caused
enormous delay. The NoR WC 2003 was not available till May 2004 so was
published June 2004 in FD FLYER No 7 (even then not being complete).

is planned now for September. Print is planned at 1100 (850 members, 100
"VIPs", 150 spare)
