Women FD sailors at Worlds
A record 9 lady helms participated in the 2005 Worlds. Peggy Bahr (GER) (photo), winner of the Ladies Trophy, was 13th overall and demonstrated ability to achieve a much higher placing.

FD Euro Cup
The dates for the events for 2006 are being finalised. They will be in Germany, Holland, Italy, Austria & Spain. The rules will remain the same as for 2005 - See FD Euro Cup page for latest details.

ISAF Update

Matters of interest to IFDCO and FD sailors include rules on quick release trapeze harnesses - will they work and will they be compulsory and
new rules on lifejackets/buoyancy aids

Eligibility and membership rules

Helms and crews sailing in an FD Event must be a fully paid up member of IFDCO.

The annual contribution for 2006 is 20 euros.
