FD Photo Gallery

During the life of the FD, tens of thousands of photos have been taken. A number of these capture the excitement of sailing the FD such as the wave jumping photos in the south of France. Some capture moments of high drama such as at the 1983 Worlds in Geelong, Australia when the mast of a capsizing boat caught a trapeze of another boat. Others relate to World Champions and Olympic medalists receiving their prizes or other social gatherings.

We would like to publish a selection of these photos and other historic photos of the FD on this website together with a range of national photos capturing the fun, excitement and exhilaration of sailing an FD.

If you are a professional photographer and have some photos of FDs then we will be pleased to publish photos that you are willing to provide and we will provide you with a link to your website. Photos from amateur photographers will be credited and, if you are willing to produce and sell prints of your photos, we will include your email address.

Please submit your photos as a jpg by email to the webmaster (aim for 60-150kb)
